In the Summer of 2008 families affected by Pompe Disease started a patient organisation to support people with Pompe Disease in Austria. 

They  organised several patient meetings that have been and are well visited. To allow people with Pompe Disease to read information on Pompe Disease, to find physicians, to read patient stories or to be able to get the latest news a website was launched.
